The designer's at Neerg feel that their clothing signifies a return to nature. Look closely and you'll see that N-E-E-R-G is G-R-E-E-N backwards, thus completing the journey back to nature. "Each collection is inspired by the philosophy of green clothing being not a revolution but a natural evolution."
We really like the great graphics and the understated appeal of their color pallets.
Warning, this clothing contains adult content! Locher'shas most definitely made it's way around the bloggesphere. I think I saw it first on Modish, or maybe Indie Fix, hard to say, it was a few years ago, but immediately I was enamored. Being a girl with a slightly (okay maybe pronounced?) wicked sense of humor I appreciate the smart a** sayings. I also like that they are tempered with such lady like embroidery. Best of all, I can't help but appreciate the lovely styling and individuality of each of these shirts. I see so many T-shirts with funny sayings, but these are such lovely jersey blouses, they provide the perfect little vignette for the cheeky wording.
I love the clean lines and minimalist feel of this jewelry. It's organic shapes have a restrained and editied feel. Occasionally there is a touch of glitter with sparce use of stones placed just for a little touch of luxe. See the whole collection HERE.
These bags are super in both form and pattern, made in NYC from "dead stock" vintage automotive fabrics. Kim White"fortuitously unearthed an entire warehouse of automotive fabric, which may be the last existing stock anywhere in the US, and she is the sole owner of these amazing textiles". Amazing huh? We love the chain straps, fabric combinations, and details that evoke a vintage sensibility for pattern details. The eco-friendly re-purposingand savvy styling don't hurt either.
I wish I had the guts to wear one of these. Perhaps to my next parent teacher conference. I am giving it serious consideration. I just think they are so awesome, check out all the sayings here. Warning, there is some "mature" content.
So I've been trying for a while now to ignore it. I've been able to string a few days in a row together without doing it. I try to "just look" but I really can't hide it any more. I have an Ebay addiction. Especially for dresses and coats. So here it is my confession... This is one of my favorites,Chic Little Devil. Check it out, but please leave some for me. Thanks, I feel much better for having revealed that. Click HERE
Ramona West Vintage is a great resource for finding vintage clothing from the 50s-80s. We love the fun patterns and great designers (high end like Valentino and Diane Von Furstenberg as well as fun finds like vintage Benneton). Romona West also features a range of sizes, which is often hard to find when shopping vintage.
